blam! right in the kisser!

where have you been missy?
I'm sorry. i really am. i wont do it again.
i haven't been hiding just busy. so busy.
Busy like afraid my head is going to spin off, busy.
eta: and Sick. yuck. like living on gatorade feel like poo for the past 6 days, sick.
so this is my life update: abbreviated. {maybe}

*first can some one tell me why my blogger is being a turd face?! ugh.
did i just say that? yes. i did. oh well. im sick, and tired, and getting frustrated with this dang thing.
....moving on

literally. we are moving!
We placed our condo in the ville on the market and it sold very quickly! thank the good Lord!
Selling your house however, means you gotta find a new one and fast!
{i'm a little exclamation point happy today, i'll tone it down}
We looked at new houses, for.ev.er. I really thought the house hunting process was going to drive me insane. M is a little more patient than i am. As he put it I was fed up after one day of looking. what?! i don't like to mess around :)
Even though we aren't first time home owners {so much for a tax credit} i think we had a pretty difficult time deciding what we wanted, and coming to the realization that what we want may have to be put on hold for a few more years. confused? haha. so were we! We went from looking at this....
which is really a super cute house 3bedroom/2bath in park hills but just didn't have enough storage for us {big surprise there}....we moved on to looking at this....

ooohh this house was neat. 3bedroom/1.5bath in Ft. Thomas. Such Charm! Oh my but what a project it would have been. But seriously when i do buy an old house some day i want the things this house had...glass door knobs on every door...every big tall wood door...huge crown molding...built in cabinets in the kitchen.....fun stairs that go to different places....tall ceilings in the bedrooms....hardwood floors... oh. my. but....a huge renovation, and lots of mooolah doesn't really fit well with a medical residency. boo. oh well. some day. Huge headache saved...next! and then we shifted gears a little to this.....

Whoa! That's a lot of house right? Still in our price range just a different area. 3bedroom/2.5bath in Taylor Mill, Ky. This house is really sweet. However...as M said...is it all lipstick and mascara? swear he did. It was a forclosure/bought and redone now trying to sell kinda house. It's been loved on and a lot of work has gone into it. The basement is unbelievable in both good ways and very bad ways. as in ways that could cost a LOT of trouble and money. So, again we move on....

.....and this is where our story ends. HAHAHA! for now ;-)

M is at the home inspection as we speak for our most recent dealio. lets cross our fingers that everything works out because i gotta be f'real....i'm dunzo.

Oh. btw. the house in Louisville?

we close in 5 days. WHhhhaAAtTt?? Yup. So we've been packing feverishly and trying to find space for all our stuff. which is not an easy task, but luckily we have lots of family to help out.

Wait. No new house yet? correct. Old house sold and you gotta be out in 5 days? correct. sooo....oh yeah you guessed it.... semi/quasi homeless for 3 weeks at the least for us!  But {secretly} we're ok with it because we get to spend some time together back in our very first house {smiles}. I'll make sure to include some pics of our makeshift home in a few weeks.

In the mean time we'll be driving back and forth a LOT as M has a few weeks left at UPS in the 'ville and I have a senior week, and a graduation to attend to. HOLY HANNAH!! Graduation?!!? How the heck did you creep up on me? 12 days until the doc is uh? between houses?! hahhaa.... it's going to be a crazy few weeks that's for sure.

get cha' t-shirts heerrree....bin #11....#12

i cleaned out two bins of DZ memorabilia...including the purge of 10 t-shirts
one large bin, one small bin, and one storage drawer of just t-shirts in general...out of which i purged 23 of them.

i found this sign in my dz bin. its from a retreat with the new members that i was in charge of one year. you write your name in the center and then pass the sheet around to everyone and people cut and paste things out of magazines that they think represent you. It's so funny to look back on this. I'd only known these girls for about 2-3 weeks.

I'm not even sure if i kept this....it was about 2 months ago and im pretty sure i threw it away (so not me huh?) But I do love it. I'm pretty sure this might be my favorite thing pasted on the sheet....

bwhahahaha....and they'd only known me like i said for a few weeks :) i love those girls. Or maybe this one is my favorite....

Who doesn't want to be "totally hilarious and deliciously wicked!" I love it!
any way back to the most important aspect of this specific bin clean out.... in case you weren't counting because I AM....thats 33 shirts i've gotten rid of. Per the hubby's request i will be keeping 20 pitching 1 :)  that means i have 660 shirts now that i can keep!! Right now you're like wtc? who has that many t-shirts. well my friends....i bet im pushing the envelope. seriously. I bet you im some where around the 300 mark, at least, and that's just a guestimate.

fyi: life update coming soon!
...and man has it been busy!!!

Over the river and through the woods to Washington, DC!

wow. this was piled way in the back and apparently I never published it to the blog. so here's a snippit from our trip to DC the first time :)

October 2008
Up the mountain, down the mountain, up the mountain, down.....atleast the drive was full of pretty colors, meanwhile I feel like I'm gonna barf!

Since I missed ALL of the state signs this could be anywhere....Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland...not sure, but it was a beautiful day!

We thought that hole in the upcoming mountain was pretty cool

The Wedge in between the mountains

Pit stop at "The Ridge"--some random gas station at the top of one of those hills.

Found this little candle and thought it was funny. It says "Cindy...an alluring and flirtatious individual. She loves to win a fight" hmmm.

E: Which way are you supposed to be going? Is that our exit?
M:I dont know I'm trying to drive and look at my iphone stop talking

After finding out our first hotel was a bit uh...scary... we found another and finally made ourselves at home for the week.

**We were so worn our from driving/talking (since there was NO RADIO for 8 hours, thanks matt-his choice btw, the radio wasn't broken) that we decided to not go downtown. Instead, we headed to the nearest mall for a little shopping. You have to find a mall on vacation to stabilize your life, find some normalcy while your away from home. I felt MUCH better :)

blooggitty blog roll

I've known about the whole blog roll thing for awhile now but never realized how it could change my life. I seriously have sooo mannnyyy freakkkinn' blogs that i follow. uhum. try to follow. i bookmark a lot. and scan occasionally. Ok OK! So i'm awful at following them. I feel like i'm missing out on so many great posts. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to write on the blog and i want people to feel appreciated. i want to read their work, see whats going on in their life, and look at the amazing projects or pictures or whatever! That's what its there for right? I love the blogger world. I'm sad that some people feel like blogging has gone out of style, that it was just a fad. What? thats crazy. Unless you delete your blog its there forever. So when someone like myself happens to stumble across your blog and you havent written in 2 years well, my friend that is sad. I like learning about people, what makes them tick. i like knowing that im not the only person in this universe that feels like they are absolutely losing their mind at times, and for totally different reasons from this person or the next. i like knowing that when im having a bad, that someone else has accidently locked their kids in the car, or busted their rump on a patch of ice, or dumped coffee on an expensive computer. or maybe when im having a bad day, i like looking at incredibly funny pictures, or beautiful pictures, or handmade jewelry, or finding out that some one whose been struggling to get preggers is having a baby, or that someone whose been fighting an illness has been able to go home to their family. I like ALL of that. So. Solution? the blog roll. simple. 5 blogs. updated by who posted most recently, and i can get there from my own blog. easy, peasy. do you guys have any amazing blogs that you just can't miss out on? PLEASSEEE SHARE THEM!!! Add them to the comments so we can all go visit and read :)

.....and because i can't have a post without a pitchurrr....

bin #8 oh dear the randomness

This bin seemed to be a collaboration of things that I felt were at some time very valuable. ha. who am i kidding, isn't every bin that?? lol. Some of the things there's no bones about it, i'll never get rid of them. Surprisingly though i was able to toss some things from this bin, but i'm not going to mention them. Mainly because i've let them go and i dont want to bring up scary feelings :)
I found a lot of things that I had kept from my old toy box, and some things from when my Great grandma and grandpa McKinley passed away. I think matthew worried this would be a bad bin for me. I kept getting things out going...NO WAY! I've been looking for this!...sure. annnyyywayyy....here's what i found.

a magic 8 ball....actually, i found 3 of these. am i indecisive?

metal hotwheels trucks

a pocket watch
a post card from israel, one from egypt

one of my first jewelry boxes from my aunt denise

a 58 caliber bullet from "the skimish of snow's pond" circa 1862...
how many of you have a bullet from the civil war? thats right.
wait. after throwing out my US history notes i've currently forgotten when the civil war occurred. I know thats awful. im not smarter than a fifth grader.

my dads college id, voter registration card, and fraternity card...
who knows why i have these.

half of a BFF necklace...
not sure who has the other half.
man those were the days weren't they? when you truly thought your "bff" was cooler than sliced bread and you guys would NEVER be apart, pinky swear.
a watch face, a marine pin, and a ring...
if you haven't noticed, i store all my valuables in Dutch Masters cigar boxes, haha.
It's a granny gomez thing :) i guess it was probably a tony thing actually.
i miss them both.
a picture of my mom from junior high....
ok does this look like me or my sister?
because i seriously can't go a whole week without some one saying, "oh my gosh you look so much like your mom" or "so this is your sister?" {pointing at my mom} or some other stupid comment.
Lets take a vote....tara? or erin? look alike???
*dear mom, i like your jumper. lol.
ETA: I found this as proof...

glow worms....
i can't even tell you how flippin' excited i was to find these suckers.
i mean, i totally knew where they were but i just never get them out to play.
I dont know where they came from but my dear friends
these bad boys will NEVER be purged. end of story.
they are beyond awesome.
'turn off the lights....and they glow' AND they are finger puppets?!
does it get any better?
I'd also like to point out their cute little ears
which i chewed on as a child...see the missing chunks? haha.
 an autographed Reds baseball...
autographed by no one famous.
i remember my dad yelled at me for ruining the ball by having someone
'not as famous' sign it. dang, there go my millions.

a fisher price doctors kit...
hmmm maybe some one had a feeling?
only when i was little and played with it i was "nurse erin"
hey i know one cool little 3 year old that has her own doctors kit like this!
Maybe uncle Matt will let her give him a shot cause i was not allowed.

taken off the street during my Senior Trip...thats right, to cleveland.

2 spring break cups

a dashboard hula girl from hawaii, and a lei

a cup from Fenway...
come on the green monster?
AND i got to put Mrs Reeves' long long long hair into braided dreads?
ahhh memories.
*note: very valuable plastic pink heart jewelry box from previously noted aunt denise :) located to the left in this picture.

3 more golf balls

a toy nail salon...
after MUCH debate, and one simple text to my sister to prove my very valuable point
---the nail salon STAYS.
there will be no further discussion. don't even try.
Matthew says its disgusting and stupid. I told T that matthew wanted to throw it away and she said "WHAT?! NO WAY! IT STAYS!! IT'S AWESOME!!" must be a girl thing.
It has an automatic nail drying fan built into it. come on.

my scarlet letter "A" project for honors english...
i think my A was "Ambition"?? i dont know, it got tossed.
