Back from vaca and wayyy behind on sharing from my recent sessions. So here's our first sneaker and there will be more soon. These guys are by far one of my favorite clients! So creative and totally up for anything which i dig ;-) and not to mention they have some cutie patootie kids that crack me up!

i love it! he has quite the spirit in him, an explorer for sure! i thought maybe this was his "i'm over you lady" look but i think his mama and i decided he was eating a pebble hahaha!

I loved that miss S remembered me from our last session. She's seems so shy at first but i just love when she warms up to you and lets out those crazy infectious laughs. And her piggy tails this time? I mean come on....to. die. for :)

oh this makes me giggle....some things never change!

Seriously? So grown up!

the summer me...

loves these hot thunderstorms

hates tornadoes

is enjoying my last few days of freedom

wishes i had more time for me

has had lots of photo sessions which makes me smile

likes freshly painted fingers and toes in crazy colors

is obsessed with McDs sweet tea

thinks bugs drive me nuts

has 20+ bug bites all over my body

misses having beach hair already

has lots of weddings to attend

is about to lose control of my own schedule

smiles while editing engagement sessions

hangs out in driveways drinking beer

is spending hours trying to settle a house into a home

wants to be tan tan tan

could swim or float all day long

needs to find some motivation somewhere

wonders if I could pick up running/walking

thinks doing anything for me will be put in the backseat

loves that my family can stop by my house on a tuesday

wants to sport the fresh face with lipgloss only

could eat ice cream for dinner every night

can't wait to see my niece play t-ball

feels a change coming but is unsure of the path

needs new songs to dance to, workout to

has eyebrows that are out of control

is ready for the new iphone that's not available

got into painting canvases not rooms, and wants more

misses her friends from med school already

loves the smell of maui babe

didnt think flip cup and beer pong were new on the scene

discovered a new drink :P blue icee and raspberry vodka

melts every time i leave the air conditioning

has been married for 4 years!

thinks i should have my wedding pictures by now, but im a slacker

is ready to watch eclipse!!!

will soon have beautiful hydrangeas in a vase

loves my new relationship with ikea

doesnt want to take another license picture

stays up late with the sun

Sneak peek comin at ya! This is from an engagement session done in Louisville just days before this awesome couple made the move to our fine neck of the woods here in the N-K-Y! We were so worried about awkwardness and that weird "what are we supposed to do" feeling that people get during photoshoots but....i think we remedied that little bug ;) what do you think?

I might be a little biased because we're friends, and because i know the photographer, but seriously? uh miss thang you look gorgeous.

I can't put my finger on what it is, but i love something everything about this picture.

Bourbon Trail

Day 3 of Senior week: this one is pretty self explanatory so I'll just get on with the pictures :)

First stop...Woodford Reserve

i always thought they were different. turns out its called "bourbon whiskey"

the old buildings at this distillery just blow me away. they're gorgeous and take me back to a place i've never been.

at least it wasnt 900 degrees inside, although i was a little creeped out. small spaces + old buildings ...eeep!

Feeling how hot the mash gets. That stuff will seriously knock you on your bum bum if you take too big of a breath while leaning into the vat and its HOT!  (mona quit looking at me!!)

the S shaped bridge that we took a tour bus across. Yes its across a river, Yes its only two small lanes, Yes they made a point to tell us it was recently widened by a few feet, and YES i was terrified and prayed the entire time we were driving across it. Cant you just see the headlines...."50+ soon to be physicians die tragically. Plummeting to their death while on bourbon trail just days before graduation" ahhhh!

Next stop.... Four Roses. 

As you will see I only have one picture from here. It was Hot as bananas out, it was late in the day, we were tired, 2 hours behind schedule, and "whiskied out" By this time we were all over it, and sure as heck fire, tired of learning about how bourbon is made. I just wanted to buy my bourbon whiskey for the hubs and get the heck home. Over and out whiskey drinkers....

we made plans to go to a winery next week ;-)
