carry a small piece and lighten the load.

You may not know her, I dont. But when I read about her life's experiences, I see pieces of myself, my little sister, my mother, my mamaw, my friends, my niece, my cousins, my aunts, my sister-in-law, pieces of every strong woman that has ever touched my life even in the slightest way or for the briefest moment. If she was your sister, your friend, your daughter then you would want anyone and everyone to pray for her. So take a minute of out your day. Please. Pray for strength. Pray for a body that has the wisdom, the energy, and the will to Heal. Pray for reassurance, for gratitude, for determination, for faith. Pray for good news, for baby steps, for small victories. Pray for positive, healing vibes :) Even if you don't consider yourself to be religious, with a full heart pray...
Lord, continue to use Alison as your soldier, continue to show us your miracles through her strength and healing.

We think having faith means being convinced God exists in the same way we are convinced a chair exists. Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be the miracle. ~Phillips Brooks (US Episcopal bishop 1835 - 1893)

Sounds like you have been as touched by her story as I have been. I pray for her every single night. I seriously dropped to my knees and sobbed the day she posted the news. She is such a strong soul with a wonderful, supportive husband.

This post was lovely. Is she aware of it?
